What popped out in your mind when you read the title of this post?
Yes, I mean "Economy"!
Money?? Is that all?
Then what's the difference between economy and accounting? Both are related to dollars signs (which currently I am in need of **sigh**)
Well, Accounting is more to digits and no thinking of externalities required.
On the other hand, Economy required one to think beyond what we are thinking.
From the greek of οἰκονόμος (read:Oikos Nomos), which means managing households
And it's just too bad, I'm interested in it, but not very good in it.
**another sigh**

Well, I'm just about to finish the book "The Undercover Economy", shall finish it tomorrow if there is no detour. =)
And I liked the quote from the book, which is quoted from some well-known Economics, which I've forgotten and I'm dead lazy to go and grab the book.
It goes like this, with modification to suit my style, of course:
"Doing something is not about competing with others. It's about what you do best, or at least doing something better in what you did the least worse!"

Took me some time to really understand what the sentence is telling. You can try it too =)

Was up late this morning due to some coffee-time with Shawn 2am in the morning.
Well, it's a experience I've ever had, getting lost in this small but complicated Singapore.
But it's true that if you know the expressways in Singapore, driving is much easier.
Back to this morning, I continued reading the book, "The undercover Economics".
There, they do mention about game theory. And I thought for a while, "Hey, this life is also nothing but a game!"

You know what you have.
You may not know what's in others' possession.
So, what can you do?
Increase the bet the best you could,
and watch how they play the game?

Or, would you just back out and watch the game?
Ironically, there are people who fail from both sides.
Either, they don't have enough resources to keep up with their competitor
Or, they just don't have the courage to whisk away their opponent.

But, there is always way out for everything.

Why can't we just share our information, and instead of competing with each other, we agreed to thing like, "Let someone get this thing, but in return, he need to give us something."

Life, what's life?
What's definition of life.
There are lots of definition, which all of them are right, and none are wrong.
Take wiki's for example.
But here's definition of mine, after 21 years of living in different environment.

Let's start first with when I was a baby...
So, how life looks like when I was a baby?
Owh well, it gets pretty boring, so I guess take a looooooong nap to kill time?
That sounds great. And since I can hardly talk, I used crying to call =P
Well, life as a baby is just great.
But how does it like when I was able to walk and speak?
Owh, it's much more fun.
I can run, yell, and play all I liked. Except when somebody is sleeping and I woke them up, I'll get scolding. =.= Yeah, I did that before
So what does it like when I entered primary & secondary school
Is much more fun. I have alot of friend to go out with, to share stories with, and even to skip classes with.
But what's the not-so-fun part?
I'll get scolding if I didn't do something properly.
Poly life, how does it like?
Well, people said, there's always sky above sky.
This proverb is proven to be true in fun and life.
There is always fun above fun!
But it's different kinda fun of course. I get to noe my first...
I get to organize events, I getta know more friends from other country.
In short, I can play all I want. =D

Rejected after first interview at Keppel
Falling for someone, and it goes smoothly... But I just dunno why there's this feeling that asks me to back out. =(

Though I'm rejected, I come to know one essence in interview. Research and enthusiasm.
Though there's this "back-out" feeling, just do as what you are. If she's not yours, someone is yours. =)

Try seeing it from different angle,

When you have too many information,

Or look into particular information which is worth to probe into.

I've experienced the thrill and the uncomfortness of being hectic.

Great days anyone~
It's been some 'blank' time since the last time I updated my blog. Well, it's more to like I dun have anything to update except my routine.... Hope everyone is okay with it~

To start off, I would like to say gratz for the event this afternoon to SPMSC, SPISC, and the whole organizers, not forgetting our super-power alumni~ Not forgetting my wishes for all of you, though I know it's quite some time since the last Thingyan, and quite early for the next Thingyan.

Anyway, dunno what wind (direct translation from Chinese: 不懂有什么风) I am really so enthu yesterday. Maybe I am just bored sitting down in front of my computer yesterday? Went out for late dinner cum supper in Bugis with Hao Jin yesterday. Sat there until times strikes 1.30 midnight. Was like OMG~~~~~

So well, hav a great chat with her. Though as usual, I am more to the listener type. Went out to help out with the festival this morning~ Then at night, Wei Tian, Juwy, and I met up with Hao Jin for dinner since she's longing for Old Town... (>_<)''''' Went arcade and played what I haven't dared to play before. PARA PARA, drum, and DDR. It's kinda fun~

Anyway, message to my friend:

It has been some times since the last time I posted. Well, there are no much to post actually.

Just that for the last few days I had a really chronic headache. As in really really chronic.

It has lasted there for like 1 week? From previous 2 Wednesday until the last Wednesday? Or Thursday?

But well, it has been better now. Just hoping that it won't be back again.

Been reading about this jaywalking ban rule in TODAY paper when I was on my way to work this morning. It's written there that "7 in 10 killed on roads were jaywalkers."

Been recalling the times I was in Indonesia, had my several jaywalking in a day. Be it when I was going to school, buying lunch, going back from school, or when I was going for a walk, even when I was going out with friends. But now here I am, blogging. XD

Well, it's kinda ridiculous just to put the statistics there, without anyproof, or any reason, you see... Or maybe Singapore is just too convenient that the pedestrians here forget that accident can happen anytime anywhere? Or just them wanna get hit to get some insurance. XD

Been recalling incident not long ago. I was on my way to go back home, and I was jaywalking. Then this car, didn't turn off the turning light. I thought he's driving in to my place, so I ran across the street. Stupid driver. Didn't turn off the turning light even he had made the turn like 100m ago??? Well, it just proof that Singaporean drivers are not as agile and careful as Indonesian drivers... XD

This post is not meant to be sarcasm... Just a piece of my thought. That's all~

Was helping my owner today. And he found out that I was from Indonesia, and my parents doing cloth trading business. So, he asked me to ask my parents if they want to bring in any shirts from China. XD

So, I was thinking, LOL, my mum is okay with it, so is my aunt. But my father will mostly reject that...
Business is not that good this days man...

But Liang have another thinking, he asking if I can set up a shirt selling website. XP

Well, had an outing with my sec school friend this whole afternoon. Been eating too much... Well, spend like 40 or so just for food and cinema. Btw, Shinjuku Incident is nice.... ^^

Been eating at Bugis de 'Fish & co' continued with Vivo de food republic, after which we went to see some pets... They are just adorable. Making me feel like to have one in Singapore. Ugh... **no 1 will take care of it**
Decided not to buy **as if i can manage to buy** LoL

Then before we watch 'Shinjuku Incident', we had our tea time @ Toast Box. Then after cinema, we went to 'Kim Gary' to had our late dinner. Quite filling though....

Let's see.... Something funny today. (1) Went to temple to pray, since it's been long time since the last time I went there. (2) We've been talking about buddhism when we are at Kim Gary, that's before eating. And while we are chatting about that, (3) SP Buddhist Society called me asking me if I wanna go to Peranakan Museum this Saturday, which is tomorrow, but unfortunately, I can't... (4) Dunno what is '流‘ in English, so opened my dictionary, and the first word I saw is '羅漢'.
Conclusion: Is it a sign for me to go temple more often??? **Maybe I shall**

Ah, btw... Been hearing about the statue of Buddha in Bireuen, Aceh, Indonesia. It cried, or I shall say, it shed tears...

Now, maybe I shall go to temple regularly.... ^^
